Following his studies, Josh co-founded the fringe theatre company The Long and Short Of It Productions

with partner Lizzie in 2018/19.

The company performed its first original piece - 'All Men Must Sing; A Parody of Ice & Fire' - at the Brighton Fringe Festival, a 2.5-hour full-length comedy parody musical of the Game of Thrones media franchise. The piece featured a cast of 30+ actors and dancers, a 5-piece live band, and live puppetry performances.

 

The production was met with a majority of positive reviews and turned over a profit.

In addition to being the sole writer for 'All Men Must Sing', Josh also co-directed and co-songwrote for the piece.
