Following his studies, Josh co-founded the fringe theatre company

The Long and Short Of It Productions in 2018/19.

The company performed its first original piece - 'All Men Must Sing; A Parody of Ice & Fire' -

at the Brighton Fringe Festival, a 2.5-hour full-length comedy parody musical of the

'Game of Thrones' media franchise.

The piece featured a cast of 30+ actors and dancers, a 5-piece live band, alongside live puppetry performances. The production received a majority of positive reviews and turned a profit.

In addition to being the sole script writer for 'All Men Must Sing', Josh also co-directed and co-songwrote for the production.
